Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our dynamic healthcare team. Duties Perform data entry for prescriptions, patient records, and inventory management using advanced pharmacy software systems. Verify prescriptions for accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance according to state and federal pharmacy laws. Support medication administration processes by preparing and labeling medications in accordance with pharmacological medical terminology and medical protocols. Maintain strict patient confidentiality while handling sensitive health information in compliance with healthcare regulations. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels, ordering medications, and managing expiration dates within hospital or community pharmacy settings. Provide excellent patient service by answering medication-related questions, assisting with intake procedures, and supporting patient care initiatives. Skills Fast typing skills is required Extensive knowledge of pharmaceutical calculations, sterile IV admixture procedures, and aseptic techniques required for safe medication preparation. Familiarity with pharmacy software systems for data entry, inventory control, and prescription processing. Strong understanding of state healthcare regulations, drug regulation policies, and federal pharmacy laws governing medication dispensing. Excellent patient service skills with a focus on patient care and maintaining confidentiality at all times. Ability to perform pharmaceutical compounding accurately while following aseptic techniques for sterile IV infusions. Knowledge of medical terminology related to pharmacology to facilitate effective communication within healthcare teams. Strong organizational skills for managing multiple priorities such as intake processing, medication administration support, and inventory control.
