Pharmacy Technician and PTCB Certification required.Experience Requirements:
1-2 years' pharmacy technician or auditing experience.Position Overview:
Responsible for completing internal and external audits as requested, preparing audit summaries, and provides reports to the management team. Analyzes data and develops proposals for resolution.Positions reporting to this position:

Receives external audit requests from insurance companies and audits the prescription fill process. Compiles data requested by insurance companies to support audit findings. Tracks and logs all operational errors for reporting purposes. These errors include shipping errors, dispensing errors, patient or physician complaints, technician errors and HIPAA breaches. Supplies error reporting for managed care contracts or re-credentialing. Assists Pharmacy Technicians as time allows. Participates in staff meetings, conference calls, and other meetings, as needed. Performs other incidental and related duties as required.Working Conditions:
Fast-paced environment. Requires normal vision (corrected) both close and distant. Requires normal hearing levels (corrected). Requires working at a desk to use a phone and computer for extended periods of time. Requires sitting, bending. Works effectively with frequent interruptions.
