Position Overview:

Responsible for completing internal and external audits as requested, preparing audit summaries, and provides reports to the management team. Analyzes data and develops proposals for resolution.

Responsibilities:

 Receives external audit requests from insurance companies and audits the prescription fill process.  Compiles data requested by insurance companies to support audit findings.  Tracks and logs all operational errors for reporting purposes. These errors include shipping errors, dispensing errors, patient or physician complaints, technician errors and HIPAA breaches.  Supplies error reporting for managed care contracts or re-credentialing.  Assists Pharmacy Technicians as time allows.  Participates in staff meetings, conference calls, and other meetings, as needed.  Performs other incidental and related duties as required.

Working Conditions:

 Fast-paced environment.  Requires normal vision (corrected) both close and distant.  Requires normal hearing levels (corrected).  Requires working at a desk to use a phone and computer for extended periods of time.
