We specialize in innovative, high-quality customized medications, including sterile injectables, sublingual preparations, topical elixirs, and advanced peptide formulations. As we prepare for our grand opening, we are building a dedicated team of clinical professionals who are passionate about patient care, precision, and operating at the highest standards of pharmacy practice. Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Compounding Pharmacy Technician to join our team immediately. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in both sterile and non-sterile compounding, with a thorough understanding of USP , , and guidelines. You will be working directly alongside the Pharmacist-in-Charge in a brand-new modular cleanroom environment, utilizing the latest compounding technology and compliance software. This is a rare opportunity to get in on the ground floor of an upcoming, cutting-edge facility while enjoying a consistent Monday-Friday daytime schedule. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare sterile and non-sterile compounded medications (including capsules, sublinguals, transdermal creams, and sterile injectables) according to Master Formulation Records.
- Strictly adhere to USP , , and standards for garbing, hand hygiene, and aseptic technique.
- Maintain, clean, and disinfect the modular cleanroom, primary engineering control (PECs), and compounding equipment according to standard operating procedures.
- Perform and log daily environmental monitoring, pressure checks, and equipment calibration (balances, pH meters, etc.).
- Accurately record daily compounding logs, lot numbers, and expiration dates utilizing our integrated compliance platform.
- Manage hazardous drug (HD) handling, spill control protocols, and proper waste disposal.
- Assist with inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining proper storage conditions for active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs). Qualifications
License/Certification:
Active and in good standing Pharmacy Technician Registration with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP). PTCB National Certification (CPhT) is highly preferred.
Experience:
Proven, hands-on experience in a compounding pharmacy setting with direct experience in
USP , USP
sterile and USP hazardous compounding.
Knowledge:
Strong understanding of cleanroom protocols, aseptic technique, and pharmaceutical calculations.
Skills:
Exceptional attention to detail, strong mathematical skills, and the ability to strictly follow standard operating procedures. Familiarity with Simplifi or similar compliance and documentation platforms is a plus. What We Offer
