Maintain strict adherence to pharmaceutical regulatory compliance, including state and federal pharmacy laws. Conduct pharmaceutical calculations to verify dosages and ensure safe medication administration. Support clinical pharmacy activities such as medication reconciliation, intake assessments, and patient education. Follow aseptic techniques and sterile IV admixture procedures during compounding to ensure patient safety. Ensure the confidentiality of patient information while managing sensitive medical data. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and verifying drug expiration dates. Support hospital or community pharmacy operations by providing excellent customer service and addressing patient inquiries. Skills Proven experience as a pharmacy technician in LTC (Long-Term Care), hospital, or community pharmacy settings. Critical care experience and familiarity with acute care environments enhance your ability to support complex medication regimens. Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical calculations, drug regulation, and medical terminology relevant to pharmacy practice. Hands-on experience with pharmacy software systems for prescription processing and data management.
