McAllen, TX 78503 Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and certified Pharmacy Technician to join our pharmacy team in McAllen, TX. The ideal candidate will assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, managing inventory, and providing excellent customer service to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the pharmacy. Responsibilities Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently. Verify prescription information and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Maintain accurate patient records and pharmacy documentation. Manage inventory, including ordering, stocking, and checking expiration dates of medications. Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns in a professional manner. Operate pharmacy equipment and technology systems effectively. Adhere to all safety, health, and sanitation standards. Support pharmacists with administrative tasks as needed. Qualifications Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credential required. High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a pharmacy setting preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with pharmacy software and technology. Knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations applicable in Texas.
