Job Description
Pharmacy Technician — Full-Time Ropheka Pharmacy is a growing independent pharmacy in Midlothian, Texas, expanding across community pharmacy, non-sterile compounding, long-term care, clinical services, medication synchronization, delivery, and personalized patient care. We are seeking a dependable, organized, patient-focused Pharmacy Technician who wants to grow with an expanding pharmacy and become an important part of the day-to-day operation. Responsibilities Assist with prescription processing and pharmacy workflow under pharmacist supervision Enter and maintain accurate patient and prescription information Assist patients professionally by phone and at the pharmacy counter Process routine insurance claims and assist with rejection resolution Coordinate refill requests and medication synchronization Prepare prescriptions for pharmacist verification Assist with inventory ordering, receiving, organization, and stock monitoring Support adherence and blister packaging Assist with long-term care pharmacy workflow Support non-sterile compounding operations as trained Help coordinate pharmacy deliveries and patient follow-up Maintain clean, organized, and efficient pharmacy work areas Support clinical services and general pharmacy operations Take initiative when pharmacy needs arise and work collaboratively with pharmacists and other team members Qualifications Current Texas Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Trainee registration required Dependable, punctual, organized, and detail-oriented Strong communication and patient-service skills Comfortable using computers and pharmacy software Community or retail pharmacy experience preferred Insurance processing experience preferred Non-sterile compounding experience is a plus Long-term care, adherence packaging, or medication synchronization experience is a plus PTCB certification preferred Bilingual preferred Schedule Full-Time, approximately 32-40 hours per week. Compensation $16-$18 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
