Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Per Diem A per diem opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Technician skilled in medication distribution and customer support. This role is based in Nacogdoches, TX, and offers a structured schedule from August 3 to August 11, 2026, with consistent 9-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, August 3-7, 2026: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (9 hours/day) Monday and Tuesday, August 10-11, 2026: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (9 hours/day)
Responsibilities:
Accurately distribute prescribed medications as ordered by physicians and other authorized health practitioners. Provide clear, accurate information to customers regarding medication usage, side effects, and storage. Maintain a high standard of customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all clients. Support pharmacy operations, including inventory management and record keeping, as needed.
Qualifications:
Current and valid Texas Pharmacy Technician License required. Experience in retail or long-term care pharmacy settings is strongly preferred. Strong communication skills and an ability to educate customers effectively. Attention to detail and commitment to compliance with pharmacy regulations.
