We are currently seeking a Certified, highly motivated Pharmacy Tech Trainee/ Certified Pharmacy Technician with a minimum of 1-year of experience to add to our team that understands the vital role they play in the lives of people on a daily basis.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist patients by greeting them in person or on phone; answering their questions and requests; referring inquiries to the pharmacist, billing prescriptions, checking out patients, pharmacy software data entry, and inventory management. Consistently models our core values. Going above and beyond to give the exceptional customer service. Proficient at typing with minimal errors Organize medications for pharmacist to dispense preparing and packaging drug orders (e.g. count tablets/capsules, measure liquids and affixing prescription label to the prescription container) Able to clearly and concisely utilize various forms of communication to the patient about their prescription orders Keeps clear and concise notes on any prescription or order that cannot be pulled or counted and alerts the appropriate employee of the issue (medication out of stock, or full quantity not in stock) Demonstrates proficient use of computers, pharmacy software and troubleshooting issues Must be able to handle insurance issues or rejections Maintains a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with pharmacy policies & procedures as well as state and federal regulations.
