Looking for a certified pharmacy technician to work part time at our independent pharmacy located in Sherman TX. Monday thru Friday 9a-5p (No weekends). We need someone who has great work ethic, time management skills and great customer engagement. Willing to learn compounding and other skills as needed to complete job duties. Cpht will be responsible for prioritizing and inputting daily prescriptions accurately and in a timely manner. Will also confirm and enter compound scripts and verify with Rph before proceeding to compound medications. Once the pharmacist has reviewed then Cpht will compound. Will assist in counting and filling scripts as needed. Will assist in patient contact and coordinate delivery needs. Receive and verify daily orders in a timely fashion. Maintain inventory control in pharmacy software. Assist in answering phone calls as well as verbally take refill authorizations. Packaging and shipping out items as needed. Along with any other duties assigned by Pharmacist in charge as needed. During the day also assist with LTCF ,hospice scripts and potentially workers compensation/personal injury scripts too. Ability to earn more money with deliveries
