Contract / Temporary (contract-to-hire is possible but not guaranteed) Position Summary Seeking a Pharmacy Fill Technician to accurately prepare prescriptions by picking, labeling, scanning, and final preparation for pharmacist verification. This role supports a fast-paced pharmacy operation and requires strong attention to detail and reliability. Key Responsibilities Pull/pick medications from shelves and medication storage areas (including pre-pack racks) Label, scan, and prepare prescriptions for pharmacist verification Perform accuracy checks of final preparation before pharmacist review Assist with returned medications (recycle/dispose per procedure) Support pre-packing frequently ordered medications during low-volume times Maintain clean, organized workstation and restock supplies each shift Follow all applicable regulations, including HIPAA Notify pharmacist of medications/products that do not scan properly Overtime/holidays/weekends may be required as needed Requirements High School diploma or equivalent Active, unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license/certification as required by your state/regulations Ability to read/write/speak English Detail-oriented; able to work at a moderate pace Able to perform light lifting (up to ~30 lbs) and stand for long periods Pharmacy experience preferred (long-term care pharmacy experience preferred) Quick Screening Questions (for applicants) Do you have an active, unrestricted State or National Pharmacy Technician license?
