26 an hour 2 hours ago Qualifications Pharmacy Technician License PTCB Certification High school diploma or GED Registered Pharmacy Technician Full Job Description The Certified Pharmacy Technician aids pharmacists in providing pharmaceutical care services to patients by assisting in the preparation, dispensing, record keeping, and transporting of medications for all patients including the following age groups: neonatal, pediatric, adolescence, adult, and geriatric. Under minimal supervision, this role performs the required duties of a technician at a high level of proficiency, demonstrating exemplary work behaviors and ownership for the success of the work area.

Current certification by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) Current licensure with the Virginia State Board of Pharmacy By virtue of societal trust and security explicitly imparted to pharmacies for the control of drugs, candidate/incumbent must have a clean criminal record (i.e. no felony conviction; no drug or pharmacy related convictions, including misdemeanors; no denial, suspension, revocation, or restriction of registration or licensure by any State Board of Pharmacy) Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for continued employment: Current certification by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) Current licensure with the Virginia State Board of Pharmacy Experience
