We have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join our Pharmacy team at
HMP & YOI
Hollesley Bay , a category D Prison located in the village of Hollesley, near Woodbridge in Suffolk. On-site parking and must be a driver due to remote location. On-site gym, farm shop and clothing shop on site, car valeting service plus on-site cafe. ACT and medicine reconciliation training is offered and there is also a Pharmacy Technician progression pathway if you don't already hold the ACT qualification. Hours 37.5 hours a week
  • Working 4 days a week 07:00-17:00pm or 5 days working 07:00
  • 15:00pm or 08:15-16:15. No weekend working. Salary This position is full time, with the salary ranging between £29,264
  • £33,510 per annum
  • depending on experience.

You will Ensuring patient medical records are maintained to the agreed standard at all times and ensuring standard operating procedures are followed to a high and orderly standard. Ensuring timely administration of medicines through to analysing cost effective prescribing as defined through our unique health in justice medicines policy. Work together to make a difference to all the people we support, and make Practice Plus Group, a place where each of us feels appreciated, challenged and supported to do our best work fulfilling the lives of others. Communicate complex or sensitive information whilst demonstrating empathy and understanding to patients. Share information relating to pharmaceutical products, medicines optimisation, drug regimes, medicines legislation and general health education so that the multidisciplinary healthcare team are appropriately informed. Qualifications You will hold NVQ Level 3, BTEC, or equivalent qualifications and have current registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPHC) You will also have relevant post-qualification experience working within a pharmacy environment and multi-disciplinary team.
