Provide excellent customer service to the facilities in taking orders, answering questions, referring information and phone calls to the appropriate departments.

- ability to work effectively and collaboratively with all team members Essential Job Functions (include the following): Answer incoming phone calls from patients and caregivers.
Respond to customer questions about prescriptions, refills, and pharmacy services. Assist in submission of refill requests to the Data Entry department. Help facilities/patients understand prescription status and delivery schedules. Verify and update patient information in pharmacy systems. Resolve basic customer concerns and escalate complex issues when needed. Document customer interactions accurately in the pharmacy system. Coordinate with pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to address patient needs. Provide friendly, professional service while maintaining patient confidentiality. Certifications:
High School Diploma or GED, required Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration (per state requirements); National Certification preferred (PTCB), preferred
Skills and Qualifications:
2+ years of related experience (advanced degree may substitute for experience) Advanced computer skills; pharmacy operations system experience preferred Ability to work independently and deliver to deadlines Ability to solve problems with minimal direction Great attention to detail and accuracy Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment working on multiple tasks simultaneously, while adhering to strict deadlines Quality minded; motivated to seek out errors and inquire when something appears inaccurate
