Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and dispense medications accurately in accordance with hospital protocols and physician orders Assist pharmacists in compounding intravenous (IV) medications, ensuring adherence to sterile techniques Manage medication inventory and maintain records for inpatient pharmacy operations Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure timely and safe delivery of medications to patients Adhere to all regulatory and safety standards related to pharmacy practice
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Current certification as a Pharmacy Technician with IV certification Prior experience working as an inpatient pharmacy technician in a hospital setting Strong knowledge of medication safety, pharmacy laws, and inpatient pharmacy procedures Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment Excellent communication and organizational skills
