Job Description

Pharmacy Technician - Full Time (Tuesday-Saturday) SmartScript Pharmacy Are you looking for a rewarding career where your attention to detail truly makes a difference? SmartScript Pharmacy is seeking a motivated, dependable, and tech-savvy Pharmacy Technician to join our growing compounding pharmacy team. This full-time, first-shift position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, is comfortable using computers throughout the day, and takes pride in accuracy. Whether you have previous pharmacy experience or are looking to expand your skills, we provide opportunities to learn, grow, and become cross-trained in multiple areas of our pharmacy operations. What You'll Do As a Pharmacy Technician, you'll play an essential role in helping our team provide high-quality compounded medications to patients.
Daily responsibilities include:
Accurately entering prescription information into the pharmacy computer system Filling and packaging prescriptions according to established procedures Reviewing work carefully to ensure accuracy and quality Performing frequent computer work and data entry with speed and precision Maintaining organized inventory and assisting with stock management Following pharmacy policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements Working closely with pharmacists and fellow team members to support an efficient workflow Learning additional pharmacy functions through cross-training opportunities What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is reliable, eager to learn, and enjoys working with both technology and hands-on tasks.
Qualifications:
Strong computer proficiency and excellent data entry skills Ability to accurately enter information while maintaining attention to detail Excellent organizational and time-management skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new processes Good hand dexterity and manual coordination Positive attitude and ability to work well as part of a team Previous pharmacy experience is preferred but not required Schedule Full-Time (40 hours per week) First Shift Tuesday through Saturday Why Join SmartScript Pharmacy?
