The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the pharmacy operations, ensuring the safe and effective delivery of medications to patients. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Duties Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications. Provide excellent patient service by answering questions and addressing concerns. Maintain accurate medication records and ensure proper intake of prescriptions. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support patient care in acute care settings, including hospitals and long-term care (LTC) facilities. Utilize medical terminology effectively to communicate with patients and healthcare staff. Monitor inventory levels, manage medication storage, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Participate in medication administration under the supervision of licensed pharmacists as required. Experience Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician is preferred but not required. Customer service experience preferred (over 1 year) Must be 18 years of age Must be certified by the state of WI license.wi.gov
