Overview Join our team as a Pharmacy Technician, where your expertise will support safe and efficient medication management in diverse clinical settings. This vital role involves collaborating with pharmacists, healthcare providers, and patients to ensure accurate dispensing, patient care, and regulatory compliance. Your dedication will directly impact patient outcomes and the quality of care delivered across hospital, community, and specialty pharmacy environments. Duties Prepare and dispense medications accurately using pharmacy software systems while maintaining strict adherence to state and federal pharmacy laws. Assist with medication inventory management, including stock replenishment, expiration tracking, and proper storage procedures. Support patient service initiatives by answering medication-related questions, providing medication counseling under supervision, and maintaining patient confidentiality at all times. Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical regulatory standards by documenting data entry accurately, managing drug regulation protocols, and adhering to medical terminology standards. Maintain detailed records of medication intake, drug administration procedures, and pharmacy activities to support quality assurance and audit readiness. Experience Prior pharmacy technician experience in community pharmacy settings is highly desirable. Demonstrated knowledge of pharmaceutical calculations, drug regulation policies, medical terminology. Experience with pharmacy software systems for data entry, inventory management, and medication dispensing is essential. Proven ability to maintain patient confidentiality while managing sensitive health information in compliance with state healthcare regulations. Strong customer service skills combined with a detail-oriented approach ensure excellent patient care and team collaboration.
Pay:
$17.00 - $19.00 per hour Expected hours: 32.0 per week
