- Huntsville, AL for a phlebotomist.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Collect, label, appropriately prepare and store lab samples according to laboratory specifications.
- Prepare lab requisitions in computer by acquiring all information required.
- Ensure collection lab specimens by appropriate lab courier.
- Take initiative and action to respond, resolve and follow up regarding patients in a timely manner.
- Comply with Synergy policies, protocols and procedures (Employee Handbook, QA manual, Compliance)
Requirements:
- Excellent phlebotomy skills
- Good time management skills and ability to work with minimal on site supervision.
- Ability to work in fast paced environment
- Commitment to provide quality work with no errors
- Demonstrate excellent customer service and patient care.
- Work well with others and ability to problem solve.
- Have experience processing clinical samples.

Day to day work includes desk and personal computer entry and interaction with patients, facility staff and physicians. Candidate must be able to sit, stand, bend, walk, kneel and carry up 25lbs.
