Job Description
```Job Overview``` We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Phlebotomist/ Collector to join our team. As a Phlebotomist/ Collector, you will play a crucial role in the healthcare system by collecting blood/ urine samples from patients for diagnostic testing. You will work in a variety of settings, including hospitals, clinical laboratories, and other healthcare facilities. ```Duties```
- Perform venipuncture and collect blood samples from patients
- Label and properly store blood samples for laboratory testing
- Verify patient information and ensure accurate documentation of procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and maintain aseptic technique during procedures
- Provide exceptional patient care and ensure their comfort throughout the process
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely specimen collection ```Experience``` To be successful in this role, you should have the following skills and qualifications:
- Knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Proficient in performing venipuncture and other blood sampling techniques
- Experience working in a clinical laboratory or hospital setting is preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
