Flexible, appointment-based scheduling About Apex MD Apex MD is a growing telehealth and medical wellness company specializing in weight management, hormone optimization, preventive health, and longevity. We are seeking an experienced and dependable Mobile Phlebotomist to support Apex MD patients throughout the greater Phoenix area. This individual will travel to scheduled collection locations, including partner fitness facilities, to provide convenient on-site blood draws for patients enrolled in Apex MD programs. Responsibilities Travel to scheduled collection locations throughout the Phoenix metropolitan area Perform professional blood draws for Apex MD patients Manage appointments through approved scheduling and patient-management systems Verify patient identity and laboratory requisitions before each collection Perform safe and efficient venipuncture and specimen collection Properly label, process, centrifuge, package, and prepare specimens as required Coordinate timely specimen delivery or shipment to the designated laboratory Maintain accurate collection records and appointment documentation Protect patient privacy and follow HIPAA, infection-control, and bloodborne-pathogen procedures Communicate professionally with patients, laboratories, facility representatives, and the Apex MD team Maintain appropriate collection supplies and communicate restocking needs Support individual appointments and organized blood-draw events Deliver a friendly, professional, and patient-centered experience Qualifications Current phlebotomy certification (NHA or equivalent) At least one year of professional phlebotomy experience; two or more years preferred Current phlebotomy certification from a recognized organization preferred Strong venipuncture skills with patients of varying body types and vein accessibility Experience processing, packaging, and transporting laboratory specimens Familiarity with laboratory requisitions and collection requirements Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and appropriate automobile insurance Ability and willingness to travel throughout the Phoenix metro area Smartphone with reliable calling, texting, email, scheduling, and navigation access Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills Professional appearance and patient-centered attitude Ability to work independently across multiple collection locations Comfort learning and using digital scheduling, documentation, and patient-management systems Willingness to complete a background check and provide applicable credentials Preferred Experience Mobile, concierge, home-health, or event-based phlebotomy Performing collections in fitness, wellness, workplace, or community settings Working with Quest Diagnostics or comparable national laboratories Collecting hormone, metabolic, weight-management, and preventive-health panels Supporting telehealth or medical-wellness patients Centrifugation and time-sensitive specimen handling Coordinating appointments across multiple locations What We Offer Flexible, appointment-based scheduling Recurring collection opportunities across established service locations A combination of individual appointments and organized collection events Support from the Apex MD clinical and operations teams Opportunity to grow with an expanding medical wellness company Competitive compensation based on experience, availability, and appointment volume How to Apply Please submit your résumé and a brief introduction that includes: Your phlebotomy experience and current credentials Your general weekly availability The areas of the Phoenix metro you can service Your experience with mobile collections and specimen processing Your desired compensation structure Apex MD is committed to providing a professional, respectful, and patient-centered environment.
