Phlebotomist Opening:
Anticipated start date: 8/3/2026
Salary Range:
$28/hour Anticipated schedule: FT / 5 days per week
Daily Range of Responsibilities:
Obtains blood specimens by performing venipunctures and finger sticks Mostly ED and inpatient draw; some assistance with outpatient until 1730 Distributes specimens to designated departments Collects and processes appropriate patient specimens and samples for diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease to conduct medical laboratory testing Focuses on phlebotomy and specimen collection; may perform other, less complex technical and clerical tasks
Job Qualifications:
High School Education/GED or equivalent License required in CA; preferred in OR and HI Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience 3-5 years of experience, more preferred EPIC experience a must
Preferred Licenses/Certifications:
Certified Phlebotomy Technician CPT I or CPT II or National Healthcareer Association phlebotomy certification (CPT-NHA) or National Center for Competency phlebotomy certification (CPT-NCCT) or Medical Laboratory Technician license (MLT)
Facility Specific License/Certifications:
Phlebotomy Tech (CPT) or Certified Phlebotomy Technician II (CPTII) or NHA Certified Phlebotomy Tech (CPT-NHA) or Phlebotomy Tech-NCCT (NCCT-CPT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) Required Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor Submit your resume to us today for consideration and one of our dedicated recruiters will be in touch within 24 business hours.
