Weekly Gross:
$2,040 (Including Stipend)
Weekly Non-Taxable Stipend:
$1,120
Taxable Rate:
$23/hour
Blended Hourly Rate:
$51 Local Candidate rate within 50 miles: $45/hour on W2
Requirements Day Shift:
5×8s, with consecutive days. Start times vary but generally begin around 7:00 AM .
Experience:
5 years of phlebotomy experience preferred.
Acute Care:
3+ years of phlebotomy experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred. EPIC experience is required. CPT 1 (Certified Phlebotomy Technician) license is required for California. Position is represented by UFCW . Education & Work Experience High School Diploma/GED or equivalent — Required in CA; Preferred in OR and HI Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience — Preferred 3+ years of phlebotomy experience in an acute care environment — Preferred Licenses & Certifications Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) license — Required in CA; Preferred in OR and HI EPIC experience — Required Key Responsibilities Coordinate daily operations of the clinical laboratory phlebotomy and specimen processing areas. Assign and coordinate work for phlebotomists, laboratory assistants, and interns. Develop, implement, and update policies, procedures, and protocols to improve workflow, efficiency, and safety. Ensure timely and accurate completion of phlebotomy procedures and specimen processing. Serve as a liaison between phlebotomy staff, laboratory personnel, physicians, patients, families, and other hospital departments. Maintain compliance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations, including privacy, safety, and blood-borne pathogen requirements.
