Phlebotomist Instructor 4.0 4.0 out of 5 stars Join our esteemed team at PTS, a well-established Utah-based organization with a proud 30-year history, as we embark on a search for a dedicated Phlebotomy Instructor at our prestigious Glendale location.
Position:
Phlebotomy Instructor Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive instruction in the art of phlebotomy for aspiring phlebotomists. Cultivate a positive, encouraging, and safe learning environment for students during lecture and all clinical drawing portions. Encourage and support students throughout the program to ensure successful completion. Deliver our insightful curriculum in a clear and easily comprehensible manner. Manage onsite inventory and classroom cleanliness. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including classroom documentation (If applicable). Productive attendance and timeliness to all scheduled classes. Required reliable transportation and an address to receive inventory boxes. Required Technology knowledge with IPads, mirror casting, troubleshooting, etc. Preferred - EKG knowledge and work experience Inventory Duties as needed.
State Requirements:
Current Certified Phlebotomy Technician in the state of California, with a minimum of 3 years of full-time phlebotomy experience in the last 5 years (including venipunctures, blood collection, lab processing, and special specimen procurement); a copy of the phlebotomy certificate will be required upon request. The following experience and/or certifications will NOT be accepted: Medical Assistant, CNA, Self-Employed/Independent/Contractor, Mobile Phlebotomists or Blood Bank. (Whole Blood Donation) Hold at least a high school diploma or GED, and have completed a program of instruction at a recognized school directly related to the field of teaching; a copy of the diploma or transcript will be required upon request. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds Documents Needed- Current CPT 1 License High School completion Current resume
