Full Job Description Job Title:

Inpatient Phlebotomist Job Description As a Phlebotomist, you will exhibit proficiency in blood collection through venipuncture and capillary techniques from patients of all age groups in a hospital setting. Responsibilities Perform blood collection by venipuncture and capillary techniques from patients of all age groups. Conduct pediatric blood collections and handle difficult draws Ensure compliance with safety standards and communicate their importance to team members. Essential Skills Inpatient phlebotomist experience Proficiency in phlebotomy, including venipuncture and neonatal procedures. Possession of a CPT 1 License. Strong computer skills and experience with lab systems such as Cerner. Excellent customer service skills. At least six months to one year of experience in an acute or sub-acute setting, with neonatal experience preferred. Experience in inpatient settings, with the ability to draw 20-30 patients in an 8-hour inpatient shift. Additional Skills & Qualifications High School Diploma. Hospital experience. Excellent attendance and behavior record. Flexibility with shifts and hours. Work Environment The role involves working in a high-volume hospital setting. The schedule requires open availability. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
