Teachers should be familiar with anatomy, the medical laboratory operation, the phlebotomy procedure, complications, special procedures, infection control, and legal issues. Teachers will spend most of their time lecturing on these subjects, preparing students for a National Exam. The following qualifications must be strictly met: Current California State Phlebotomy License 3 Years of full time phlebotomy experience
