California-Licensed Mobile Phlebotomists Independent Contractor (1099) | Flexible, On-Call Assignments Medicheck Health & Wellness is seeking reliable, professional, and skilled California-licensed phlebotomists to provide mobile specimen collection services in select areas throughout California. This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity with flexible, on-call assignments based on patient needs and geographic coverage. Compensation $20-$30 per completed patient visit , based on experience and assignment requirements Mileage reimbursement provided for eligible travel Opportunities for additional assignments as patient volume and coverage needs grow Responsibilities Travel to patient homes, workplaces, and designated collection locations Verify patient identity using approved identification procedures Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections Collect blood, urine, saliva, and other authorized specimens according to collection protocols Provide a professional and comfortable patient experience Properly label, process, package, and prepare specimens for transport Centrifuge specimens when required Coordinate specimen drop-off or shipment according to assignment instructions Complete accurate and timely documentation Follow HIPAA, OSHA, infection-control, safety, and company protocols Qualifications Current California Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) license Minimum 1 year of phlebotomy experience required Mobile phlebotomy experience preferred Experience with difficult draws, geriatric patients, and pediatric patients is a plus High school diploma, GED, or equivalent Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Strong communication and customer-service skills Professional, dependable, detail-oriented, and compassionate Must have access to a centrifuge Professional liability/malpractice insurance required Why Contract With MCHW? ✔ Flexible, on-call scheduling ✔ Independent field-based work ✔ Mileage reimbursement for eligible travel ✔ Opportunity for additional assignments as coverage expands ✔ Work with a growing California specimen-collection network
