Looking for a travel lab assignment where your skills truly make a difference? If you're an experienced Laboratory Assistant/Phlebotomist with current Epic experience , this is an excellent opportunity to join a respected acute care hospital on California's beautiful Central Coast. Work alongside an experienced laboratory team while enjoying coastal living and a supportive environment.

Rotating 5×8-hour shifts Shift times include: 6:00 AM
  • 2:30 PM 9:00 AM
  • 7:30 PM 1:30 PM
  • 12:00 AM 9:00 PM
  • 7:00
AM Weekend Requirement:
Same schedule as weekdays
Call Required:
No EMR:
Epic (Current Epic experience required) What You'll Need High School Diploma or GED Current Certified Phlebotomy Technician I (CPT-I) License Current BLS Certification Current Epic experience (Required) Acute care phlebotomy experience preferred What You'll Do Perform venipuncture and specimen collection using age-appropriate techniques Process, label, accession, and prepare laboratory specimens Enter patient registrations and laboratory orders accurately Package and transport specimens while maintaining specimen integrity Monitor laboratory workflow and prioritize urgent specimens Answer laboratory calls and communicate results when appropriate Maintain inventory, documentation, and quality standards Support a fast-paced hospital laboratory environment Why You'll Love This Assignment Beautiful Central Coast California location 162-bed acute care hospital No call requirement Opportunity to work with an experienced laboratory team Great assignment for professionals with hospital lab and Epic experience #Workwolf
