Job Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Mobile Phlebotomist, where your expertise in blood sampling and patient care will make a meaningful difference in people's lives. In this energetic role, you will travel to various patient locations, including homes, clinics, to perform specimen collection with precision and compassion. Responsibilities Conduct venipuncture and blood sampling using proper aseptic techniques to ensure specimen integrity Collect specimens from patients in diverse settings, including residential homes, clinics, and hospital environments Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration to support clinical assessments Follow laboratory procedures and laboratory techniques meticulously for specimen processing and handling Maintain accurate documentation of patient information, specimen details, and collection times in compliance with medical terminology standards Provide exceptional patient service by explaining procedures clearly, addressing concerns patiently, and ensuring comfort during collection Adhere strictly to safety protocols related to anatomy knowledge, physiology understanding, and infection control practices Experience Prior laboratory experience or clinical laboratory experience is highly preferred Proven proficiency in phlebotomy techniques such as venipuncture and blood sampling Experience working in hospital or healthcare environments is advantageous Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy enhances your ability to perform effectively Demonstrated ability to work independently while maintaining excellent patient care standards Familiarity with laboratory procedures, specimen collection/processing, and aseptic techniques is desirable Embark on a rewarding career that combines mobility with vital healthcare services.
