Monday-Thursday, 9:00am-1:00pm State Qualifications Current Certified Phlebotomy Technician in the state of California, with a minimum of 3 years of full-time phlebotomy experience in the last 5 years (including venipunctures, blood collection, lab processing, and special specimen procurement); a copy of the phlebotomy certificate will be required upon request. The following experience and/or certifications will NOT be accepted: Medical Assistant, CNA, Self-Employed/Independent/Contractor, Mobile Phlebotomists or Blood Bank. (Whole Blood Donation) Hold at least a high school diploma or GED, and have completed a program of instruction at a recognized school directly related to the field of teaching; a copy of the diploma or transcript will be required upon request. Documents Required Upon Application Current California CPT License High School completion Current resume About the Role We are seeking a knowledgeable, dependable, and student-focused Phlebotomy Instructor to provide comprehensive instruction in the art and science of phlebotomy. This role is responsible for preparing aspiring phlebotomists with the knowledge, technical skills, and professionalism required to succeed in the healthcare field. The ideal candidate will cultivate a positive, structured, and safe learning environment while delivering high-quality lecture and hands-on clinical instruction. This position requires strong leadership, organization, and adherence to educational and regulatory standards. What You'll Do Conduct comprehensive instruction in phlebotomy, including lecture and clinical drawing sessions Deliver curriculum content clearly and effectively to ensure student understanding and competency Foster a positive, encouraging, and safe learning environment Supervise students during clinical practice to ensure compliance with safety standards Encourage and support students throughout the program to promote successful completion Maintain classroom cleanliness and organization Manage onsite inventory and supplies Complete required classroom documentation in accordance with company policies Maintain productive attendance and timeliness for all scheduled classes Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards Manage onsite inventory and supplies, including receiving shipments to personal address, maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting inventory counts, and ensuring precise stock levels to support classroom and clinical training activities. Utilize inventory management system (Agiliron) to track supply usage, process inventory adjustments, and complete required documentation in accordance with company policies. Maintain organized inventory storage areas, monitor supply needs, and collaborate with inventory managers and fellow instructors to support efficient classroom operations. Ensure classroom and inventory areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with company standards. Required Qualifications Current Phlebotomy Certification High school diploma or equivalent Relevant occupational work experience in phlebotomy Strong communication and instructional skills Reliable transportation A secure address to receive inventory shipments Ability to lift up to 25 lbs Proficiency with technology, including iPads, mirror casting, and basic troubleshooting Professional demeanor and effective classroom management skills Additional Preferred Qualifications EKG knowledge and work experience Prior teaching or training experienceJob Type:
