Shift- 6AM to 6PM M-F (8 hrs, hours may vary) and rotating weekends Floating position Must have 1-2 years of phlebotomy experience drawing on pediatrics and geriatrics

Position Responsibilities:

Phlebotomist technician with experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information, etc. Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures. Properly explains in a clear but courteous manner the process of the venipuncture (blood drawing) and or other specimen collection (ex. urine or fecal) as required. Demonstrate technique/s using straight needles and/or butterfly needles. Fully understand all of the physicians' orders. Matches laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes. Understand and comply with OSHA and DEP regulations.

Minimum Qualifications:

1-2 years of experience drawing on pediatrics and geriatrics Venipuncture drawing skills Preferred Bilingual (Spanish/English) Floating position- must have a reliable vehicle, a good driving history and a valid drivers license. Must have a valid Phlebotomy Certification (National/State Certification) High School Diploma or GED Must pass a color vision test Apply for immediate consideration.
