Position Overview GTI Laboratories is seeking a Part-Time Clinical Specimen Collector to support in-clinic operations in Aurora . This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy routine, consistency, and working in a fast-paced clinical setting. You'll be responsible for collecting and handling specimens with precision—supporting pathology and toxicology/medication management testing that directly impacts patient care. What You'll Do Collect urine and other specimens for toxicology, medication management, and pathology testing Work directly with patients to ensure a professional and comfortable collection experience Verify patient identity and ensure accurate labeling and documentation Complete requisitions thoroughly (patient demographics, physician info, ordered tests) Follow all laboratory SOPs, safety protocols, and HIPAA regulations Maintain specimen integrity and proper handling procedures Track and document specimens using approved logs/manifests Identify and communicate collection issues or discrepancies Collaborate with clinic staff and internal teams to maintain smooth daily operations Participate in ongoing training and team meetings

7:00 AM - 3:00 PM What We're Looking For High School Diploma or GED (required) Minimum 1 year of relevant experience (specimen collection, medical assisting, or similar) Experience with toxicology, medication management, or pathology collections preferred Strong communication and patient interaction skills High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based clinical environment Basic proficiency with Windows/Microsoft Office Professional, dependable, and patient-focused
Pay & Benefits Pay:
