Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-4:00 PM Why This Role Matters As a Phlebotomist II, you will play an essential role in ensuring accurate specimen collection and delivering a positive patient experience. Your attention to detail, technical expertise, and commitment to quality will directly support important diagnostic testing and patient care outcomes. What You'll Do Collect blood specimens using venipuncture, capillary, and other approved collection techniques Process, label, and prepare specimens for laboratory testing following established procedures Verify patient identity, demographics, and specimen labeling accuracy Perform pediatric, geriatric, and adult specimen collections with professionalism and care Maintain accurate records and documentation while ensuring patient confidentiality Perform both clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing duties Provide exceptional customer service and create a welcoming patient experience Travel to patient service centers and physician office locations as needed What We're Looking For A current, up-to-date resume High school diploma or equivalent required Medical assistant, paramedic, or related medical training preferred Phlebotomy certification preferred 1-3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections Patient Service Center experience preferred Strong customer service and keyboard/data entry skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Reliable transportation and flexibility to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and on-call schedules as needed Ability to handle multiple priorities in a high-volume environment Ability to meet compliance requirements Must be eligible and provide proof of eligibility to work in the US What's In It For You Competitive pay with the opportunity to expand your clinical experience Exposure to a variety of patient populations and healthcare settings Supportive, patient-focused work environment Opportunity to strengthen technical, customer service, and leadership skills Potential pathway to long-term employment Benefits for Manpower Associates (Upon Eligibility) Upon completion of waiting period associates are eligible for: Medical and Prescription Drug Plans Dental Plan Supplemental Life Insurance Short Term Disability Insurance 401(k)
