Open Positions:
2 Position Overview We are seeking two reliable, detail-oriented Phlebotomists to support clinical and laboratory operations across active healthcare facilities in the Denver Metro area. These positions focus on precise specimen collection, waived laboratory testing, maintaining safety and quality control standards, and managing routine lab inventory and documentation.
Key Responsibilities Clinical & Laboratory Operations Specimen Collection:
Perform routine and complex phlebotomy procedures; ensure accurate patient identification and proper blood bank banding.
Testing:
Execute waived laboratory testing under strict CLIA guidelines; process orders for both in-house and reference laboratories.
Equipment Technology:
Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain standard laboratory instrumentation, ensuring equipment is properly calibrated and functional.
Compliance & Quality Control Documentation:
Maintain complete and accurate accessioning logs, equipment maintenance records, and quality assurance checklists.
Regulatory Adherence:
Adhere strictly to OSHA standards, Universal Precautions, infection control, and proper hazardous material disposal protocols.
Administrative Integrity:
Coordinate pre-authorizations (ABNs), protect patient confidentiality (HIPAA compliance), and organize daily laboratory paperwork.
Logistics & Environment Inventory & Maintenance:
Monitor supply expiration dates, restock clinical stations, and maintain a sterile, clean working environment.
Qualifications Required:
High School Diploma or GED. 2+ years of hands-on phlebotomy experience. Demonstrated knowledge of proper specimen handling, CLIA waived testing, and safety protocols.
Preferred:
Phlebotomy Certification or diploma from an accredited phlebotomy program. Why Apply?
