Phlebotomy Tech I Sonora Quest Laboratories is seeking a detail-oriented and patient-focused Phlebotomy Tech I to join our team. This role is crucial in our joint venture between Banner Health and Quest Diagnostics, where we strive to provide superior diagnostic testing services across Arizona. As a Phlebotomy Tech I, you will be the frontline in collecting high-quality blood samples from patients and ensuring the samples are handled and processed with the utmost care, all while maintaining strict adherence to safety standards. Perform venipuncture and skin puncture to collect blood samples according to laboratory guidelines. Verify patient information and maintain detailed records of collection. Prepare and organize collected specimens for testing. Maintain cleanliness and order in the work area, adhering to safety and health policies. Provide information and answer patient inquiries about the collection process. Assist in processing and analysis of samples when required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in venipuncture and skin puncture techniques Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and hygiene standards Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment Basic data entry and computer skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) certification desired but not essential.
