Position Summary We are seeking a dependable and patient-focused Phlebotomist to join our medical practice. The primary responsibility of this position will be performing blood draws and providing a positive experience for our patients. When needed, this position will also assist as a phone operator , answering incoming calls, assisting patients with their questions, and supporting the daily operations of our medical practice. Responsibilities Perform blood draws safely, accurately, and efficiently. Properly identify patients and follow established specimen collection procedures. Prepare, label, and handle specimens according to office and laboratory guidelines. Provide courteous and professional service to patients. Answer incoming telephone calls and assist patients as needed. Route calls and messages to the appropriate staff members. Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements. Keep the phlebotomy area clean, organized, and properly stocked. Assist with other administrative or clinical duties as needed. Qualifications Previous phlebotomy experience preferred. Phlebotomy certification preferred bot not mandatory for the right candidate Strong communication and customer service skills. Comfortable working directly with patients. Professional, dependable, and organized. Ability to work effectively in a busy medical-office environment. Ability to handle telephone calls and communicate professionally with patients. Must be available to work Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM-4:00 PM . Pay:
$18.50 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
