Job Description

South Florida Healthcare Institute is seeking an experienced Certified Phlebotomist (CPT) or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) to join our team as a Weekend Instructor for our Phlebotomy Technician Diploma Program . We are looking for a passionate, dependable, and self-motivated healthcare professional who enjoys teaching and mentoring students as they prepare for rewarding careers in the medical field.
Position Details Position:
Part-Time Phlebotomy Technician Instructor Schedule:
Every Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 AM - 2:00
PM Location:
Boca Raton, Florida Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging classroom, laboratory, and hands-on phlebotomy instruction. Demonstrate proper venipuncture and capillary collection techniques while reinforcing patient safety and infection control practices. Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, and classroom activities aligned with the curriculum. Evaluate student knowledge and clinical skills through assignments, practical demonstrations, and assessments. Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student progress. Foster a positive, supportive learning environment that encourages student success. Ensure a safe, organized, and professional classroom and laboratory setting. Mentor students and prepare them for success in the workforce. Qualifications Current Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) credential or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) certification. Minimum of 2 years of recent hands-on phlebotomy experience . Previous teaching, training, or precepting experience is preferred. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
