Responsibilities Provide high-quality blood sample collection from patients, including pediatric and geriatric populations Prepare specimens for laboratory testing according to established procedures Explain procedures to patients, ensuring a trustful and comfortable atmosphere Verify patient demographic information and ensure proper labeling of specimens in their presence Maintain accurate records and documentation of collections and patient information Perform specimen collection and processing duties with confidence and adherence to safety standards Create a professional environment that promotes a positive image to patients and colleagues Required Skills Strong phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections Ability to provide error-free work in a fast-paced setting Excellent communication skills and customer service focus Detail-oriented with good organizational skills Capacity to handle multiple priorities effectively Proficiency in keyboard and data entry tasks Additional Skills & Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assistant or paramedic training preferred Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington 1-3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections Experience working in a patient service center environment is highly preferred Must have own reliable transportation with a valid driver's license and clean driving record if applicable Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and overtime, to cover multiple locations Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and exercise good judgment Willingness to travel and work in various locations based on staffing needs Candidate's home city should be within a 20-25 minute commute to the worksite Take the next step in your phlebotomy career by bringing your skills to an organization committed to excellence and patient care.
