QUALIFICATIONS
- Phlebotomy certification required (or obtainable within 90 days of hire)
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Employer conducts a background check
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage the office solo
- Reliable and self-sufficient
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- DOT collector certification a plus
- Prior lab technician experience preferred
- Experience with live scan fingerprinting
POSITION SUMMARY A1
Live Scan & Collection is seeking a skilled and motivated Phlebotomist / Live Scan Technician / Specimen Collection Technician to join our DeLand team. This role is ideal for a self-sufficient professional who can effectively manage specimen collection, live scan fingerprinting, and daily office operations.WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a responsible, dependable, and detail-oriented individual who can work independently and maintain a professional environment for our clients. Bilingual candidates are strongly preferred.ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws for laboratory testing
- Conduct live scan fingerprinting for employment, licensing, and regulatory purposes
- Collect and process specimens in accordance with established protocols
- Maintain accurate records and chain-of-custody documentation
- Run daily office operations independently
- Provide customer service in a professional setting
- Ensure proper labeling, packaging, and transport of specimens
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Manual dexterity for specimen collection procedures
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly
