Responsibilities Draw blood samples from patients of all ages, including pediatric and geriatric populations, following established safety and procedural standards. Prepare specimens for laboratory testing, ensuring correct labeling and documentation. Explain procedures to patients to create a comfortable and professional environment, demonstrating excellent customer service skills. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to specimen collection and processing. Perform phlebotomy duties confidently and safely, adhering to all established practices and procedures. Create a safe and professional environment for patients and staff. Required Skills Proven ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent phlebotomy skills, including experience with pediatric and geriatric patients. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Keyboard and data entry experience. Additional Skills & Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required. Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington. Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred. Minimum of 6 months of phlebotomy experience required; over 1 year preferred. Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred. Reliable transportation to the worksite, with a commute time within 20-25 minutes. Must be flexible and available for shifts that include weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime. Must be punctual, dependable, and able to stay for entire scheduled shifts without excessive absenteeism or tardiness.
