Responsibilities Perform blood draws and specimen collection from patients across different age groups, including pediatric and geriatric populations. Ensure proper labeling and handling of specimens, verifying patient demographic information and documenting accurately. Maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment during all patient interactions. Follow established procedures and safety protocols for specimen collection and processing. Communicate clearly with patients, providing instructions and building trust to ensure a positive experience. Manage documentation and records in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Travel between multiple sites as needed, demonstrating flexibility and punctuality to cover assigned locations. Required Skills Proven phlebotomy skills, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high accuracy and efficiency. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Strong attention to detail for specimen labeling and data entry. Ability to handle high-volume, fast-paced environments effectively. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Additional Skills & Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required. Phlebotomy certification preferred; medical assistant or paramedic training is a plus. 1-3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric and geriatric collections, required. Experience working in a patient service center or clinical setting is highly desired. Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and occasional on-call shifts. Must be able to travel between multiple locations reliably and be punctual for all scheduled shifts. Additional travel expenses, such as mileage between sites, can be reimbursed.
