  • Draw quality blood samples from patients of diverse age groups following established procedures.
  • Prepare specimens for laboratory testing, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and professional environment for patients and staff.
  • Accurately record and document specimen collection and processing activities.
  • Communicate procedures clearly to patients to foster trust and confidence.
  • Demonstrate leadership behaviors while focusing on process excellence and confidentiality.
  • Perform daily tasks independently, managing multiple responsibilities efficiently.
  • Contribute to a positive patient experience through professionalism and organizational commitment. Required Skills
  • Extensive phlebotomy skills with the ability to draw blood from pediatric and geriatric patients.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Accurate keyboard and data entry capabilities.
  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Additional Skills & Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; medical assistant or paramedic training is preferred.
  • Certification in phlebotomy is preferred; required in certain states such as California, Nevada, and Washington.
  • Minimum of 6 months of phlebotomy experience; over a year preferred.
  • Customer service experience in a retail or service environment is advantageous.
  • Reliable transportation to the work site, with a commute time ideally within 20-25 minutes.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, on-call shifts, and overtime as needed.
  • Availability to work scheduled shifts consistently and punctually.
  • Physical ability to perform blood draws and handle specimen processing.
