The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing blood draws and , ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the process. This role is essential in supporting our operations and providing high-quality patient care. Duties Perform venipuncture and capillary puncture techniques to collect blood samples from patients. Ensure proper identification of patients and labeling of specimens to maintain accuracy. Process specimens according to established protocols for laboratory testing. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards and infection control practices. Document patient information, procedures performed, and any relevant medical history. Monitor patients for adverse reactions during and after blood collection, providing appropriate care as needed. Assist with the training of new staff or interns in phlebotomy techniques and best practices. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care and communication. Requirements Proven experience in a hospital or clinical laboratory setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and blood sampling techniques. Ability to perform specimen collection processing accurately and efficiently. Familiarity with vital signs monitoring and basic patient care principles. Excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients of all ages. Attention to detail and the ability to follow protocols meticulously.
