Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Phlebotomist, Medical Assistant, and Front Desk Specialist! In this multifaceted role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming environment while performing essential clinical tasks. Your expertise will support smooth patient flow, accurate medical documentation, and efficient office operations. Responsibilities Collect blood samples through venipuncture and capillary draws with precision and care, adhering to safety protocols. Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, including taking vital signs, recording medical histories, and preparing patients for procedures. Manage patient check-in and check-out processes at the front desk, including appointment scheduling and verifying insurance information. Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems) by documenting patient encounters, test results, and medical histories efficiently. Support medical office operations by managing phone calls, responding to patient inquiries, and coordinating appointment reminders. Assist with clinical procedures such as medication administration (when qualified), specimen handling, and basic physiology assessments. Ensure compliance with infection control standards and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment. Requirements Proven experience in medical office settings, including front desk duties and clinical support roles. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent is preferred; additional certifications such as Phlebotomy certification and medical assistance are required. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, ICD coding, and EMR/EHR systems is essential for accurate documentation and patient care. Strong communication skills with a focus on patient service excellence; ability to handle sensitive information discreetly. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks such as specimen collection and equipment setup. Must be bilingual ; Spanish required. Pay:
$17.00 - $19.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
