  • Draw quality blood samples from patients across multiple sites, including pediatric and geriatric populations, ensuring specimen integrity and patient safety.
  • Follow established procedures for specimen collection, labeling, and documentation to maintain accuracy and compliance.
  • Verify patient demographic information, including signatures and tube labels, to ensure specimen integrity.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and professional environment during all collection activities.
  • Accurately maintain records and documentation of procedures and patient information.
  • Provide clear communication to patients to foster trust and confidence during blood collection.
  • Travel between different locations as needed, covering assigned sites promptly and efficiently.
  • Exercise good judgment and make decisions based on established protocols while adhering to policies and safety guidelines.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervision to ensure process excellence and smooth operations. Required Skills
  • Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections.
  • Ability to perform error-free work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Good communication skills to explain procedures and foster patient trust.
  • Basic keyboard and data entry skills.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing needs. Additional Skills & Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington.
  • 1-3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric and geriatric collections.
  • Prior experience in a Patient Service Center environment is highly desirable.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
  • Willingness to travel between multiple locations and cover various site needs.
  • Strong customer service focus and ability to communicate openly with patients and team members.
  • Schedule flexibility to accommodate staffing needs and coverage.
