  • Draw quality blood samples from patients of all ages, including pediatric and geriatric populations
  • Prepare specimens for laboratory testing following established procedures and best practices
  • Explain procedures to patients to foster trust and confidence during specimen collection
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all specimen collection activities
  • Perform specimen processing and handling in accordance with safety and quality standards
  • Demonstrate professionalism and uphold confidentiality when managing patient information
  • Support the team by completing daily tasks accurately and on time under supervision
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and professional environment in the clinical setting
  • Rotate work schedule to include weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts as needed Required Skills
  • Excellent phlebotomy skills, including experience with pediatric and geriatric patients
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong customer service skills for engaging with patients in a caring and professional manner
  • Accurate keyboard and data entry skills for maintaining records
  • Ability to perform error-free work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good organizational and communication skills Additional Skills & Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred (Required in California, Nevada, and Washington)
  • Minimum of 6 months of phlebotomy experience required; over one year preferred
  • Customer service experience in retail or service environment is a plus
  • Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and overtime, with rotational Saturdays
