• Draw blood samples from patients of all ages, including pediatric and geriatric populations
• Prepare specimens for laboratory testing following established procedures
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of collected specimens and patient interactions
• Communicate procedures clearly to patients, creating an atmosphere of trust and confidence
• Ensure a safe, clean, and professional environment at all times
• Demonstrate leadership behaviors by focusing on process excellence and confidentiality
• Perform specimen processing duties accurately and efficiently under supervisor guidance
• Maintain compliance with organizational policies and safety standards Required Skills
• Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong customer service skills in a clinical or retail environment
• Proficient keyboard and data entry skills
• Reliable transportation to and from the worksite within the designated commute time
• Ability to arrive on time and stay for the entire scheduled shift Additional Skills & Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington)
• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
• Minimum of 6 months of phlebotomy experience required; more than 1 year preferred
• Experience in customer service is preferred
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, on-call shifts, and overtime
• Candidate must have their own reliable transportation and list their home city and commute time on their resume
