Responsibilities Greet patients upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures, including self-service kiosks or handheld tablets Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional waiting area Assist with patient breaks and coverage for staffing shortages in the lobby and draw room Utilize phlebotomy skills to perform specimen collection and processing in accordance with established practices and procedures Answer patient questions and provide care and reassurance in a compassionate manner Maintain accurate records and documentation related to patient visits and specimen collection Demonstrate excellence in customer service to ensure a positive experience for all patients and staff Follow safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for patients and staff Support the overall operations of the clinical setting to promote efficiency and patient satisfaction Required Skills High level of customer service skills and experience Ability to handle patients with care and compassion Proficient keyboard and data entry skills Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Additional Skills & Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required 1-2 years of client-facing customer service experience (e.g., retail, home health aide) Phlebotomy experience required, including internship or externship experience is acceptable Willingness to work in both lobby and draw room environments Flexibility to work breaks and cover staffing shortages as needed The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to patient care, professionalism, and a willingness to learn and grow within a clinical environment.
