PM Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist healthcare providers in delivering exceptional patient care in a medical setting.Duties:
STRONG PHLEBOTOMY SKILLS A MUST
- Perform basic clinical tasks to support medical staff, such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and assisting with procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all documentation is complete.
- Administer basic life support and first aid when necessary.
- Assist with patient check-in, scheduling appointments, and managing medical records.
- Handle patient inquiries and provide information about treatments and procedures.
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms for patient visits.
- Perform phlebotomy services and prepare specimens for lab pick up
Requirements:
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program or relevant certification.
- Completion of Phlebotomy training or documented 3+ years experience
- Experience working in a hospital or urgent care setting is preferred.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and knowledge of basic physiology.
- Ability to take accurate vital signs and assist with patient care.
- Familiarity with internal medicine, and urgent care practices.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and medical staff.
