PM Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist healthcare providers in delivering exceptional patient care in a medical setting.

Duties:

• STRONG PHLEBOTOMY SKILLS A MUST

• Perform basic clinical tasks to support medical staff, such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and assisting with procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all documentation is complete.
• Administer basic life support and first aid when necessary.
• Assist with patient check-in, scheduling appointments, and managing medical records.
• Handle patient inquiries and provide information about treatments and procedures.
• Prepare and maintain examination rooms for patient visits.
• Perform phlebotomy services and prepare specimens for lab pick up

Requirements:

• Completion of a Medical Assistant program or relevant certification.
• Completion of Phlebotomy training or documented 3+ years experience
• Experience working in a hospital or urgent care setting is preferred.
• Proficiency in medical terminology and knowledge of basic physiology.
• Ability to take accurate vital signs and assist with patient care.
• Familiarity with internal medicine, and urgent care practices.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and medical staff.
