As a Mobile Phlebotomist, you'll play a vital role in supporting patients and strengthening our community. What You'll Do Prepare for Success - Set up donor blood bags, equipment, and supplies to ensure smooth and efficient blood drives. Collect Life-Saving Donations - Perform donor screenings, mini-physical assessments, and venipuncture procedures with confidence and care. Support Donors - Provide excellent care before, during, and after donation, including refreshments and assistance when needed. Create a Positive Experience - Build strong relationships with donors, community partners, recruiters, and fellow team members. What We're Looking For Education High School Diploma or equivalent required Experience Completion of an approved phlebotomy course and clinical experience required Previous medical field experience is preferred Skills Strong communication and customer service skills Basic computer and clerical proficiency Ability to remain professional, compassionate, and detail-oriented Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift and move up to 35 pounds Preferred Certifications Phlebotomy Certification Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Perks of the Role Work in a variety of settings throughout the community Enjoy a dynamic work environment where no two days are exactly alike Collaborate with multiple departments and community partners Be part of an organization dedicated to saving lives and serving others Represent Shepeard Community Blood Center with professionalism and pride Important Information An in-person skills assessment is required as part of the interview process.
