Savannah, GA and Port Royal, SC Duration:
3 months, with potential for extension/conversion

Onsite Position Summary We are seeking a Phlebotomist I to provide coverage across sites in Savannah, GA and Port Royal, SC. The ideal candidate will have prior phlebotomy experience and be comfortable working independently with little to no supervision. The position involves collecting blood samples, processing specimens, maintaining daily logs, and completing routine site duties. Daily draw volume will vary from approximately 10-40 draws, and the environment is described as mostly fast-paced. The employee will work mostly alone, although the patient service center is a small 3-person site. Key Responsibilities Perform blood draws and collect patient specimens. Process specimens according to established procedures. Maintain accurate daily logs and documentation. Complete all assigned daily site duties. Provide phlebotomy services across Savannah, GA and Port Royal, SC locations. Travel to Port Royal, SC as required. Work independently with little to no supervision. Maintain accuracy while working in a mostly fast-paced environment. Follow established laboratory and specimen-handling procedures. Support site coverage based on business needs. Required Qualifications Previous phlebotomy experience is required. Strong/basic phlebotomy skills. Ability to perform approximately 10-40 blood draws per day, depending on site volume. Ability to work independently with little to no supervision. Ability and willingness to travel to Port Royal, SC. Ability to work in a mostly fast-paced environment. High school diploma required. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a patient service center or similar laboratory setting. Experience with specimen processing. Experience working independently in a small-site environment. Ability to adapt to varying daily blood-draw volumes. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate logs. Training Approximately 2 weeks of training will be provided at the start of the assignment. Work Environment 100% onsite. Float position covering Savannah, GA and Port Royal, SC. Mostly fast-paced environment. Small patient service center; approximately 3-person site. Employee will work mostly alone. Chairs are available at all locations; the intake does not specify a required percentage of standing time. Daily draw volume varies from approximately 10-40 draws. Vaccination Requirements The intake form indicates the following requirements: Hepatitis B, TB, MMR, Tdap, Flu, Varicella, and COVID-19.
